Joseph "Joey" Ray Small, who resided in Fort Smith, died Thursday, May 23, 2019, at his residence. He was born January 29, 1974, in Stockton, California. He was 45 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Shirley Small.

Joey was a former employee at Baldor Electric Company, now ABB, in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his birth mother, Kathy Guthrie of Fort Smith; four sisters, Wendy Claborn and husband Ronald of Poteau, Bobbi Sullivan and husband Mike of Huntington, New York, Donna Winder of Fort Smith, and Zina Sattler of Lodi, California; numerous cousins.
