Joseph Paul Smith, who resided in Central City, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 4, 1977, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Charlie Bruce Smith, Jr. and Tammy Jean (Stimac) Smith. He was 45 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Bruce Smith, Jr.

Joe is survived by a daughter, Summer Smith of Fort Smith; a son, Christian Smith of Hackett; his mother, Tammy Jergins of Central City; two sisters, Carol Bell and husband Dustin of Ozark and Joanie Roberts of Fort Smith; two brothers, Charlie Hewett of Greenwood and Jeremy Smith of Lavaca; and three grandchildren, Carson Smith, Zamari Smith and J.J. Asbill.
