Joe Buford Rector, who resided in Booneville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Mercy in Booneville. He was born on January 2, 1960, in Fort Smith to the late James Crockett Rector and Golda Mae (Marshall) Rector. He was 62 years old.

He is survived by a son, Johnathan Rector of Ozark; a daughter, Jodi Rector of Greenwood; a brother, James Rector of Paris; four half-sisters, Amanda and Regina of Booneville, Eva of Perryville, and Ilene of Magazine; and a half-brother, James Michael of Reno, Nevada.
