Dale McDaniel resided in Mountainburg, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born June 25, 1939 in Charleston to the late Isaac J. McDaniel and Myrna Irene (Berry) McDaniel. He was 70 years old.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Don McDaniel.

Dale worked in the maintenance department for 37 years at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 24th at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Kemp Holden officiating. Interment will be at Parks Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Letsey (Crook) McDaniel, of the home; one daughter, Myra Morris & husband Roger of Fort Smith; two sons, Joe McDaniel of Mountainburg and Dana McDaniel & wife Jonna of Greenwood; two sisters, Reva Hollford of Independence, Missouri and Joy George of Little Rock; one brother, James McDaniel of Charleston; three grandchildren, Justin Morris, Kyle Morris, & Harleigh McDaniel.

Pallbearers will be Justin Morris, Kyle Morris, Jason Crook, Dane Douglas, Bob Douglas, and Brian Douglas.

Family will visit with friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
