Joe Perry Glenn of Heavener, Oklahoma, died Friday, January 20, 2023, in Heavener, Oklahoma.  He was born on May 31, 1969, in Talihina, Oklahoma, to Ron Glenn and Harriet (Powers) Glenn.  He was 53 years old.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Glenn; maternal grandparents, Victor and Wahloolah Flyingcloud Powers; and paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Maytha Glenn.

Joe was a security guard for OK Foods in Heavener, Oklahoma, and a graduate of Heavener High School.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed spending time with his hunting buddies.  Also, he loved to read and discuss history.  Joe accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on April 22, 1979.

He is survived by his mother, Harriet Glenn of Poteau, Oklahoma; his father, Ron Glenn of Zoe, Oklahoma; his nephews, Victor and Martin Glenn, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; special family, Clyde and Sharon Naylor and daughters of Hodgen, Oklahoma; fishing buddy, Jim Winters of Loving, Oklahoma; and several other family members and loved ones.

A family led memorial service will be at Stapp-Zoe Community Center in Hodgen, Oklahoma, on January 28, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.
