Joe Aureliano Ceniceros, Jr. of Paris, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at his home. He was born on June 17, 1965, in Paris to Joe Aureliano Ceniceros, Sr. and Paula Kaye (Parker) Ceniceros. He was 57 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Aureliano Ceniceros, Sr.
Joe was a "Rough Neck" in the oil and gas field. He was a 1984 graduate of Paris High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. Joe enjoyed riding in his jeep with his wife Tonya and with other family and friends. He loved his pets and he had a green thumb. Joe had a very strong faith in God. He read his Bible often if not daily, and was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church in Paris. Joe loved his family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10th at Southside Baptist Church in Paris, with Pastor Larry Horne officiating. Burial will follow, with military honors, at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Scranton, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tonya (Chambers) Ceniceros; three daughters, Kelsy Greenfield and husband Ryan of Springdale, Alicia Norris and husband Ardith of Paris and Sierra Vines of Springdale; a son, Kelby Chambers and wife Kimberly of Fort Smith; his mother, Paula Ceniceros of Prairie Grove; two brothers, Esteban Ceniceros and wife Stephanie of Prairie Grove and Andy Ceniceros and wife Robin of Camden; four grandchildren, Zachary, Caroline, Jameson, and Mavilyn.
Pallbearers are Esteban Ceniceros, Andy Ceniceros, Kelby Chambers, Ryan Greenfield, Ardith Norris, Bob Parks, Brian Fletcher, and Monte Lowe.
Honorary pallbearers are Robert Chambers, Cole Ceniceros, Brooks Ceniceros, and Noah Ceniceros.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
