Joanne Elizabeth Brock of Barling, Arkansas, died Monday, June 12, 2023, at Mercy Crest Assisted Living in Barling. She was born on July 28, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Freeman Brock; a daughter, Anne Brock; and two brothers, Michael Lopreste and Francis Lopreste.

Joanne was a retired 2nd grade school teacher for 32 years and was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Anderson and husband Ed of Huntington, Arkansas; two sons, Carl Brock, Jr. of Dallas, Oregon, and Stan Brock and wife Becky of Vancouver, Washington; a sister, Gina Reger of Springfield, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
