Joanna Glass of Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at her home. She was born on February 24, 1936, in New Blaine, Arkansas, to the late John Hall Rowland and Emma Jane (Hixson) Rowland. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Karl Daly Glass; and a sister, Alma Jane Schwartz.

Joanna was a homemaker and for several years, she worked for the Logan County Sheriff's Office in Paris. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Karla Jane Glass of Fort Smith and Ramona Lee Glass of Van Buren; two sons, Larry Dean Glass and wife Janet of Fort Smith and Marcus Edward Glass of Marshall, Arkansas; a sister, Martha Jean Schwartz of Lexington, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation with family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. A family held memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27th at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Paris.
