Obituary

Joan M. Kelosky, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. She was born December 6, 1927 in Ludington, Michigan to the late Herbert R. Johnson and Lucille (Dove) Johnson. She was 86 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Kelosky; and one daughter, Susan Voelkel.

Joan retired from Whirlpool, Inc. in Fort Smith and was of the Catholic faith.

Funeral services and burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29th, at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel and Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Zena Marshall.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Hales and husband, Allen Jr. of Branch, Arkansas; her son, Steve Zywicki and wife Jackie of Petersburg, West Virginia; one sister, Jean Hof and husband Bud of Mesa, Arizona; one brother, Ray Johnson of Michigan; five grandchildren, Brian Ludlow, Shaun Zywicki, Stacie Pratt, A.J. Hales, and Gunner Hales; eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Ludlow, Allen Hales, Jr., A.J. Hales, and Gunner Hales.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
