Jimmy Dale Tippit, who resided near Subiaco, Arkansas, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on January 23, 1948, in Hilo, Hawaii, to the late George Tippit and Louise M. (Pung) Tippit. He was 74 years old. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Tippit; and a granddaughter, Hannah Schluterman.

For several years, Jimmy was a custodian at Paris Elementary Public School. He enjoyed going to gun shows around the state and was an avid gun and coin collector.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice (Stapleton) Tippit; two sons, Paul Tippit of Midway and Michael Tippit and wife Toni of New Blaine; a daughter, Janie Tippit of Midway; a brother, Robert Tippit of Pottsville; two sisters, Kathy Fisher and husband J.E. of Ola and Marcia Tippit of Arizona; (6) grandchildren and (11) great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
