Jimmy Dee Terry, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Paris. He was born July 23, 1934 in Franklin County near Paris to the late William Jefferson Terry and Verlon Marie (McKinney) Terry. He was 80 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jamie Jeannette Terry; his infant son, Jerrall Terry; and three brothers, Granville, Larry, and Bill Terry.
Jimmy retired after 37 years from Whirlpool, Inc. in Fort Smith. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of Roseville Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20th, at Roseville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clyde Vire officiating. Burial will be at Carpenter Cemetery, located northwest of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Jackson of Paris and Judy Kleck and husband Joe, of Paris; one son, Jeffrey Terry and wife Ella of Ozark; one brother, Johnny Joe Terry of Irving, Texas; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey McPherson, Michael Terry, Alex Kleck, Matt Clarke, Joe Johnson, and Ronnie Haney.
Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Walker.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
