Obituary

Jim "Jimmy" Snow resided in Prairie View, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at his home. He was born October 27, 1939 in Scranton to the late William Howard Snow and Emma Ola (Needham) Snow. He was 70 years old.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Snow and Alma Martin.

Jim was a retired dairyman, a 1958 graduate of Scranton High School, an avid Scranton Rockets fan, was a deacon and member of the Dublin Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12th, at the Dublin Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Shane Kasper and Rev. Jeff Henderson officiating. Interment will be at Wares Chapel Cemetery in Dublin, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ava, of the home; one daughter, Shannon Snow of Springdale; two sons, Mark Snow & wife Lana of Subiaco and Clark Snow & wife Tamara of Springdale; two sisters, Jennie Hughes of Scranton and Linda Holman of Scranton; four brothers, Bud Snow of Scranton, Billy Snow of Johnson, Rick Snow of Scranton and Bobby Snow of Scranton; three grandchildren, Brett, Bryan, and Ashlee Snow.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Tencleve, Jimmy Kremers, Thomas Needham, Neal Green, Billy Sims, and James Sory.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Garland, Jim Fusee, Alton Sims, Ewell Henderson, Junior Henderson, and Dr. John Dunham.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
