Jimmy Don Sigler, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, died Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 13, 1965, in Palm Springs, California, to James R. Sigler and Peggy Louise Rogers Sigler. He was 56 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Sigler.
Jimmy Don was a member of Branch Assembly of God. He was a member of the Branch Fire Department and Branch First Responders. He enjoyed playing the game of baseball and was known for saying "Rock-A-Fire" to whoever was pitching. Jimmy Don loved to fish, hunt, and watch football. He was very faithful to his church, and he loved his family and church family very much. Jimmy Don will always be remembered for his big smile. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A "Celebration of Life" will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11th at First Baptist Church in Branch, with Bro. Tim Hobbs officiating.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy Sigler of Branch; two sisters, Nancy Bennett and husband Dub of Ratcliff and Leeanne Danes and companion Calvin Sampley of Branch; his companion, Deleena McGee of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews. Jimmy Don also had two close friends, Ron Kester of Mansfield and Joe English of Branch.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
