Jimmy Grant McRae, 84, of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his home. He was born in Greenville, Alabama, on October 11, 1940, to the late William Roy McRae and Lena Pearl (Sims) McRae. He was preceded in death by his brother, Hudson McRae.

Jimmy was a retired manager for research and development at Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith.

He is survived by one daughter, Ivy Mink of Charleston; one son, Russell McRae and wife Mary of Charleston; one sister, Mary Sue Nabhan of Prattville, Alabama; two brothers, Nelson McRae of Greenville, Alabama, and Judson McRae and wife Jeannette of Knoxville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Joseph McRae, Michael McRae and Jason Mink; three great-grandchildren, Trinity Mink, Gotham McRae and Bravon Mink.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
