Jimmy Ray Lewis, 60, of Paris died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born February 11, 1948, in Paris to the late Joe Elmer Lewis and Lissie Lucille Curtis Lewis. He was a supervisor for the Charcoal Plant in Paris and in Jacksonville, Texas. He was an avid turkey hunter and deer hunter.

He is preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Lewis Jr., Raymond Leroy Lewis, Marion Lawrence Lewis, and Darold Lewis; and three sisters, Bernadine Shamblin, Irene Koch, and Darlene Willman.

He is survived by three daughters, Shannon Pendleton of Ratcliff, Daanna LaRoe of Paris, and Crystal Rhoades of Greenwood; one son, Wayne Lewis of Paris; two sisters, Pauline Phillips of Paris and Jeroma Willhite of Paris; and twelve grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, Arkansas.

The Rev. Bill Van Meter will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Troy LaRoe, Richard Lewis, Rick Pendleton, Caleb Lewis, Danny Phillips, Jimmy Phillips, Dwayne Hopkins, and Jerry Don Phillips.

Visitation will 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday night at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
