Obituary

Jimmy D. Frost, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born October 17, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Doyle Frost and Hilda (Pettigrew) Frost. He was 59 years old.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Knuckey and Brenda Ysteboe.

Jimmy was a truck driver for 18 years and drove cross country several years for Great Lakes Chemical in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was a bail bondsman, served in the U.S. Navy and Army Reserves and was of the Catholic faith.

Rosary memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Julia Frost; three daughters, Tonya Baumgartner and husband Preston of Paris, Leasha Koon and husband Robert of Yugo, Guam, and Jennifer Sweet of Washington State; two sons, Jimmy L. Frost of Harwood, Maryland and Gene Cross of Charleston; his parents, Doyle and Hilda Frost of Charleston; one sister, Sharon Hanger and husband Edwin of Fort Smith; one brother, Ronnie Frost and wife Debra of Washington; ten grandchildren, Megan Hall, Shadow Eagle, Jimmy Frost, Aly Hall, Matty Vega, Sydney Cross, Peyton "P.K." Koon, Bella Koon, Piper Baumgartner, and Savanah Grace Koon; one great-grandchild, Maddux Orr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Sears, Avry Holmes, Eddie Joyner, Butch Pettigrew, Danny Pettigrew, David Pettigrew, and his grandchildren.

Family will visit with friends following the Rosary service Tuesday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
