Eula M. "Jimmie" Cole resided in the Coles Chapel community, south of Branch, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at her home. She was born November 24, 1927 in Logan County to the late Edgar Dee Terry and Annie Flora (Pruett) Terry. She was 83 years old.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Edith Bagwell and five brothers, Norman, Jeff, E.D., Ruford, and Buford Terry.
Jimmie along with her husband Dwight owned & operated Colesmead Farm in the Coles Chapel community. She was a homemaker and member of Coles Chapel Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 14th at the Coles Chapel Methodist Church, with Rev. Judy Hall and Rev. Jim Brooks officiating the service. Interment will be at Coles Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, Dwight Cole; two sons, Terry Cole and wife Jodi of Dardanelle and Eddie Cole and wife Cindy of the Coles Chapel community; one sister, Ann Schick of Maumelle; seven grandchildren, Clay Cole, Jyme Beth Diffee, Carrie Couthren, Cassie White, Audra Phillips, Hailey Morrow, and Rachel Cole; eleven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clay Cole, Jonathon Chambers, Lance Coffman, Justin Couthren, Gary Hendershott, and Jermiah Diffee.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Chambers, John Wiggins, David Terry, Joe Patterson, Stevie King, Charlie Miesner, and Paul Page.
Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
