James T. Schluterman, who resided in Subiaco, died Thursday, December 19, 2019, at his home. He was born November 23, 1943, in Paris, to the late John C. Schluterman and Louise A. (Sprick) Schluterman. He was 76 years old. He was preceded in death also by four brothers, Leonard, Richard, Leo, and Hubert Schluterman.
Jim was a farm equipment mechanic for over 20 years at Ross Rogers Equipment Company in Scranton, and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22nd, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral mass service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 23rd, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco, with Father Mark Stengel, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Benedict Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jane (Soller) Schluterman; his son, Jason A. Schluterman of Subiaco; three sisters, Jeannette Frederick of Subiaco, Mary Alice Knittig of Lavaca, and Irene Seiter of Fort Smith; one brother, Pee Wee Schluterman and wife Alice of Paris; two grandson's, Titus J. Schluterman and Luke J. Schluterman.
Pallbearers are Steve Schluterman, Danny Schluterman, Ricky Schluterman, Scott Schluterman, Mike Knittig, and Leon Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association; 225 N. Michigan Ave FI. 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
