Jil Pier of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Van Buren. She was born on June 17, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, to Jon Hof and Gail (Peddler) Hof. She was 82 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jules Pier; and a daughter, Tracey Simpson.

She is survived by three daughters, Lynne Jones of Pompano Beach, Florida, Kristen Charette of Van Buren and Amy Chase of Port St. Lucie, Florida; two sons, Kevin Jones of Ball Ground, Georgia, and Stephen Jones of Fort Pierce, Florida; a brother, Jon Hof of Wardensville, West Virginia; (11) grandchildren and (6) great-grandchildren.
