Jesse Wayne Hutchins

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held for Jesse Wayne Hutchins, Saturday, May 16th, at the Island Cemetery on Arbuckle Island with Brother James Corbell officiating.

Wayne as he preferred to be called, was born November 9, 1933 to the late Charley Hutchins and DeLois (Hobbs) Hutchins in Arkansas.

At the age of 92, Wayne who resided in Woodland, California went to be with his Lord on April 24, 2026.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life for 58 years Betty (Barber) Hutchins, one daughter Debbie Joost and one son, Ronnie Hutchins, 9 siblings, Charles Jr., twins, Donna and Ronnie, Helen, Benton, Joseph Ralph (Ralphy), Exene Woods, Albert and Billy Charles, and 2 grandsons, Justin Joost and James Hutchins.

In his early years, Wayne would preach on the radio and churches in California.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Norme McKnight of Charleston, Joyce Underwood of Arbuckle Island, and Carolyn Green of Fort Smith, and one Brother, Johnny (Louise) Hutchins of Fort Smith.
