Jerry Wayne Shelby, a life-long resident of Branch, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at his home. He was born on November 22, 1957, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late Calvin Coolidge "Punk" Shelby and Sophia Jane (Maier) Shelby. He was 67 years old.

For several years, Jerry worked and retired from Medlock Forest Products in Charleston. He attended County Line School and attended First Baptist Church in Branch. Jerry was an avid pool player and had many friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Brotherton Funeral Home in Charleston from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 23rd, followed by a graveside service at Parks Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tim Hobbs of Branch First Baptist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Janice Shelby of Charleston; three brothers, Demus Shaw and wife Letha of Charleston, Ron Shelby of Branch, and Billy Shelby of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
