Jerry Don Pruitt, age 72, of Visalia, California, went to be with the Lord, Monday afternoon October 30, 2017. He was born on December 30, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the eldest son of the late Claudie Pruitt and Glenna Thompson.
Jerry graduated from Mt. Whitney High School and went on to be the youngest owner of a Shell station in the nation. He continued to work in the automobile industry and eventually owned his own car lots and later became a local real estate broker. Many of his closest friendships were born out of those years and have lasted a lifetime. Over the years, he enjoyed long Harley rides with his buddies, volunteering with Tulare County Sheriff's Search and Rescue, and quietly helping others.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11th, 2017, at Zion Hill Cemetery, located north of Hector, Arkansas near Alread, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by four daughters, Kelly Sanchez, Kim Sanchez, JoJo Adamson and Lindzee Creech; two sons-in-law, Bobby Adamson and Jeremy Creech; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Sue Sprately and her husband Michael, along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
