Obituary

Jerry Lane Oldham resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away quietly at his home on Saturday, November 14, 2009. He was born March 26, 1946 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late Harvey Oldham and Josephine (Bettis)Oldham. He was 63 years old.

He was retired from Colonial Baking Company, where he was employed for 25 years and he was a member of the First Immanuel Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

The body will be cremated under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17th at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Paul Holderfield officiating. The family will visit with friends and relatives at the funeral home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Paula (Davis) Oldham, of the home; three sons, Christopher of Bryant, Scott of Cabot, and Eric of North Little Rock; two sisters, Pat Hively and Mary Ann Bennett, both of North Little Rock and 7 wonderful grandchildren.

The family would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Sara Harbison and Debra O'quinn from the Area Agency on Aging for their efforts and compassion during this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dept. of Arkansas, 1719 South Broadway, Little Rock, AR 72206. The money will be used to aid paralyzed veterans.
