Jerry Wayne Johnson, who resided near Alma, Arkansas, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home. He was born on January 11, 1942, in Groesbeck, Texas, to the late Virgle Johnson and Lucille (Wren) Johnson. He was 80 years old. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Johnson.

Jerry was a retired District Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mildred (Hall) Johnson; a daughter, DeAnna Epperson and husband Charles of Austin, Texas; a son, Edward Wayne Johnson and wife Li Ming of Frisco, Texas; a brother, Eddie Ray Johnson and wife Marsha of Tow, Texas; four granddaughters, Sterlie Wallace, Breanna Epperson, Julia Johnson, and Katrina Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Elena and Grayson; and several nieces and nephews.
