Obituary
Jerry Allen Garcez, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born June 15, 1947 in Oakland, California to the late Manuel P. Garcez and Virginia F. (Mathis) Garcez. He was 67 years old.
Jerry was an accountant. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran, member of Paris Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, and member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
He is survived by his wife, Cheri; three daughters, Kelli Garcez and Shannon McVey, both of Tracy, California and Adrianne Garcez of Norman, Oklahoma; one son, Christopher Garcez of Roseville, California; two brothers, James (Jimmy) White of Paris and Randy Garcez of Yorba Linda, California; six grandchildren, Alexis Garcez, Gavin Garcez, Cole McVey, Cody McVey, Kaylann Jorge, and Braxton Harvey.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8th, at the funeral home in Paris.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association @ 909 West 2nd St. Little Rock, AR 72201 (501) 375-9148.
