Jerome William Minden, Sr., who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, at his home. He was born December 27, 1936, in Charleston, to the late Carl T. Minden and Caroline A. (Krallman) Minden. He was 84 years old. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Minden and Herman Minden; and one sister, Lorene McCullers.

Jerome worked many years for Arkansas Casket Company in Fort Smith and at Correll, Inc. in Charleston. He served in the Army National Guard, member of United Furniture Workers, Knights of Columbus, and faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston.

Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 23rd, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary (Bartsch) Minden; his children, Diane Woodham and husband Jon of Fort Smith, Billy Minden of Charleston, and Thomas Minden of Subiaco; a sister, Evelyn Minden of Charleston; a brother, Dennis R. Minden and wife Myra of Alma; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Woodham and Kylie Woodham.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
