Jeremy Todd Hice, native of Ratcliff, Arkansas, died in his home on Saturday, April 8, 2023. During the days leading up to his passing, Jeremy was surrounded by family who loved him. He was born on December 17, 1981, in Paris, Arkansas, to Johnny Ray Hice and Beverice L. (Kelley) Hice. He was 41 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray Hice.
Jeremy was a gentle soul. Despite health challenges, he touched many lives and brought joy to all who knew him. Friends can attest to Jeremy's love of watches, balloons, fly swats, movie credits and his daily breakfast of hash browns and eggs. Jeremy's laughter was contagious and his smile could light up a room.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Bill VanMeter officiating. His body will be cremated following the service and cremains will be buried at McVay Cemetery near Carbon City. All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his biological mother, Beverice Line of Ratcliff; two brothers, Jackie Hice and Brian Hice, both of Paris; his sister, Johnnie Rene' Hice of Edinboro, Pennsylvania; and his family, Trish and Willie Baumgartner of Ratcliff and Kate and Scott Roberts of Russellville.
Pallbearers are Ronnie Wurst, Kenneth Hice, Scott Roberts, William Baumgartner, Randy Miller, Will White, and Kelly Bottoms.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home in Paris.
