Jer Vang Xiong, 88, of Hartman, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was born on October 9,1936, in Xieng Khouang, Loas, to the late Nhia Lao Vang and Ntsum Xiong Vang. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Pang Lee Xiong.

Jer was a kind and hardworking individual. She cherished gardening, cooking, attending church, and watching movies. Her greatest joy in life was enjoying moments with family and friends. Jer was a true blessing to her family. She leaves behind her love and kindness. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held starting Saturday, March 29th, Sunday, March 30th, and Monday, March 31st at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Graveside service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31st at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her five children, Pao, Nhia Lue (Yao), Soua, Bee, and See May; her grandchildren, Leah Xyooj, Anderson Lauj, Corey Xyooj, Angie Haam, Christopher Xyooj, Chelsea Xyooj, Solomon Thoj, Alex Xyooj, Abigail Lauj, Jasmine Xyooj, Jacob Xyooj, Elizabeth Xyooj, Ariana Xyooj, Angelina Xyooj, Izac Xyooj, Korina Xyooj, Priscilla Hawj, Evelack Hawj, Marlie Hawj, Ryan Evans, Shaiyanikha Hawj, Serena Hawj, Kalena Hawj, Udica Hawj, Nathan Yaaj, Khen Yaaj, Lydia Yaaj, Blai Yaaj, Toojme Yaaj, and Chuyeh Yaaj; and seven great-grandchildren.
