Jeffery Glenn Brooks, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on December 21, 1952, in Blue Field, Virginia, to the late William Harmon Brooks and Sylvia Ann (Lawson) Brooks. He was 69 years old.

Jeffery served in the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a supervisor at Gerber Products.

Burial of cremains will be at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Faye (Clark) Brooks of the home; three sons, Joel Clark and wife Janeen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vernon Boyd and wife Lisa of Fort Smith, Jason Brooks and wife Lisa of Virginia; five daughters, Malissa Packer, Lida Hilburn, Rachel Alverson and husband David all of Fort Smith, Diana Whitlock of Alma, Kimberly Hughes and husband Danny of North Carolina; and twelve siblings.
