Obituary

Mr. Jeanie Floyd King, Jr., who resided near Caulksville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Paris. He was born October 13, 1935 in Tyler, Texas to the late Jeanie Floyd King, Sr. and Pauline (Allison) King Miller. He was 77 years old. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, George Miller.

Jean was a retired Tech-Rep. for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in England. He worked on the Lockheed TR1 and the Lockheed U-2 spy planes for the United States Government, and attended the Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Jean's favorite hobbies, along with his wife Doreen, were collecting rocks, camping, and enjoying the outdoors.

Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28th, at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bill Van Meter.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doreen (Thompson) King; two sons, Kevin King and wife Bernice and Kraig King, both of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Betty Pepau of New Mexico, Pat Forehand and Virginia Reynolds, both of Texas, and three grandchildren.

Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home in Paris.
