Callie Jean "Jeanie" Baker, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born October 2, 1931, in Cecil, Arkansas, to the late Sam Mantooth and Mattie (Hayes) Mantooth. She was 86 years old.
Jeanie was a homemaker and she worked as a passenger screener at Fort Smith National Airport in Fort Smith. She was a huge supporter of the Republican Party, was owner and operator of an antique store in Fort Smith, and a member of Branch Church of Christ.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25th, at Lowes Creek Cemetery, located north of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Mr. Larry Bean.
She is survived by a daughter, Kim Baker-Rauh of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sons, Christopher Baker and wife Lidia of Brentwood, California and Marcus Baker and wife Linda of Frisco, Texas; five sisters, Grace Tate of Lavaca, Beulah Mae Stubblefield of Cecil, Gladys Thornton of Roland, Oklahoma, Shirley Ingram of Fort Smith, and Louise Tate of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Sam Rauh and wife Shelby of Owasso, Oklahoma and Leigh Arredondo and husband Armando of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one great-grandchild, Leo Arredondo.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Charleston.
