Bobbie Jaylene Starling of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in the Heart of Hospice Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on June 9, 1945, in Tulare, California, to the late J.R. Starling and Wanda Marie (Bibb) Starling. She was 80 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two children, Timothy and Michael Starling-Henderson.

For many years, Jaylene was a professional seamstress. She could customize garments for individual needs, such as men's suits, wedding dresses, and prom dresses. She had a special talent and could meet the needs of her customers. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Janene Kyser of Fort Smith; her siblings, Patsy Marie Vanderhoofvan, Wilda Opinski, James Rolf Starling, and Delnita Torres.
