Obituary

Jasper Edward "Jabby" Archey of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Saint Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on April 3, 2014, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Lance Quinton Archey and Kaylie Marie (Gilsinger) Archey. He was almost 11 years old. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mark Gilsinger; his paternal great-grandfather, Saint Martin; and paternal great-grandmother, Beverly Archey.

Jasper was a 5th grade student at Charleston Elementary School. He loved playing football and basketball. He also enjoyed supercross and hunting, but his favorite pass time was fishing. Fishing was his favorite thing to do.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 2nd at the Charleston High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his parents, Lance and Kaylie Archey of Charleston; his brother and sister, Jager and Meya Archey of the home; his paternal grandfather, Jon Archey of Charleston; his paternal grandmother, Michelle Martin-Armstrong and husband Wayne of Cameron, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother, Lisa Gilsinger of Charleston; his paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Martin of Cameron, Oklahoma; his maternal great-grandparents, Nick and Linda Gilsinger and Becky Robins, all of Charleston; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers are Jager Archey, Mike Gilsinger, Mason Bryant, Rory Bryant, Marcus Johnson, Cade Slater, and Jacob Flanagin.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
