Obituary

Jason Edward Varos, age 34, of Ozark, Arkansas, also known as "Stretch" or "Tattoo" passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Altus. He was born January 27, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ann (Ranallo) Allen and David Varos.

Jason was employed at Movietowne Video in Ozark. He graduated from County Line High School in 1996 and was a member of the Future Farmers of America organization. He won numerous awards showing lambs at county fairs and enjoyed working at the County Line Sale Barn and I-40 Livestock Auction in Ozark. He enjoyed playing cards and the fellowship with his poker buddies in Ozark and local communities. He was an excellent "Texas Hold'em" poker player. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Ann of Cleveland, Texas; two sisters, Sandy Franklin and Angela Edwards of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two brothers, Eric Varos of Cleveland, Texas and Dustin Varos of Lake Charles, Louisiana; six nieces, six nephews, and two great-nephews. He was also blessed with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7th, at West Park Baptist Church in Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up for Jason Varos at the Bank of the Ozarks.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
