Janie Allene Wyatt, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at her home. She was born March 15, 1940, in Branch, Arkansas, to the late Marion Mirl Daily and Minnie Abbie McChristian Daily. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Coach Jim Wyatt; two sisters, Mary Lee Sloan and Joann Fitzgerald; and a brother, Bill Daily.

Janie was a homemaker. She was a 1958 graduate of County Line High School and a faithful member of West-Ark Church of Christ in Fort Smith. Janie and Jim were proud supporters of Westark Community College, Westark Lions and Lady Lions Basketball, and Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery, located north of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her children, Darren Wyatt and wife Cyndi and Doug Wyatt and wife Karen, all of Fort Smith, and Missy Joyce and husband Jeb of Fayetteville; one sister, Chrystene McCoy of Branch; seven grandchildren, Amanda Wyatt, Jacob Wyatt, Hannah Wyatt, Hunter Joyce, Madison Wyatt, Abby Joyce, and Luke Wyatt.

Pallbearers are Jacob Wyatt, Luke Wyatt, Hunter Joyce, Steven Wyatt, Michael Wyatt, Patrick Pruitt, Jim Hamilton, Jerry Glidewell, and Phillip Plunkett.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3rd, at the funeral home.
