Janice Dotson, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Kearney, Nebraska. She was born October 10, 1937 in Valley Junction, Iowa to the late James 'Jack' Blythe and Marie Agatha (Julich) Blythe. She was 74 years old. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Dotson.
Janice was a retired nurse, member of the Mother's Society, and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and helping her friends and family.
Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; three daughters, Linda Herrera of Branch, Janene Dorman and husband Daniel of Fort Smith, and Heidi Montang and husband Richard of Sutherland, Nebraska; two sons, Michael Dotson and wife Beverly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Richard Dotson and wife Loretta of Fort Smith; (17) grandchildren and (23) great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
