Janice Ruth DeTorres of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday, June 2, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on November 14, 1938, in the Peter Pender Community near Branch, Arkansas, to the late William Gage and Carrie (Polk) Gage. She was 86 years old.

Janice was a retired bookkeeper for IBM.
