Beatrice Janette McMurtry of Paris, Arkansas, died Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 7, 1944, in Dumas, Arkansas, to the late Martin Foshee and Flora (Bullock) Foshee. She was 80 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George McMurtry, Jr.

For several years, Janette worked at the Paris Pant Factory.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will follow at Caulksville Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by a sister, Judy Foshee of Paris; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers Jay Young, Lewis Rangel, Marty Foshee, Ronnie Foshee, Angie Moore, and Ryan Foshee.
