Janet Gale Lewis of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at her home. She was born on September 20, 1944, in Visalia, California, to the late Clayton Doyle Jackson and Helen Scroggins Jackson. She was 78 years old.

Janet was a daycare owner. Also, she received an Associate of Arts in Arts and Home Economics from Fresno City College.

She was survived by her husband, Charley; two daughters, Wendy Lewis of Charleston and Dawn Elliott and husband Lance of Thornton, Colorado; two sisters, Carolyn Taver and husband Jim of South Carolina, and Pam Scranton of Sacramento, California; and four grandchildren, Chloe Lewis, Drake Harris, Brock Harris, and Roman Elliott.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
