Obituary

Jamie Jeannette Terry, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born July 5, 1938 in Mankato, Kansas to the late James Simmons and Ethel (Robinson) Simmons. She was 73 years old.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerrell Dean Terry and four sisters, Kathleen Hodges, Mildred Linnerman, Betty Beck, and Patricia Osborne.

Jamie was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Vondal Davenport officiating. Burial will be at Carpenter Cemetery near Roseville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy D. Terry; two daughters, Jennifer Jackson and Judy Kleck, both of Paris; one son, Jeffrey Terry of Ozark; one sister, Irma Osborne of Van Buren; one brother, Carl Simmons of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
