James Harold Sears of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Fort Smith. He was born on November 5, 1971, in Paris, Arkansas, to John Sears and Marilyn Sue (Brannam). He was 51 years old.

James worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Marilyn and Rickie Burrows of Charleston; his father and step-mother, John Harold Sears and Claudina of Booneville; one daughter, Kinley Sears of Charleston; one son, Tanner Sears of Caulksville; a sister, Dana Self of Charleston; a step-sister, Amanda Amato of Scott, Arkansas; a brother, Michael Burrows of Charleston; two half-brothers, Chris Sears and John Sears, both of Booneville; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8th at Grace Church in Booneville. Officiating the service will be Pastor Lynn Weaver.

Cremation services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston, Arkansas.
