James Douglas Richardson, who resided in Scranton, Arkansas, died Monday, August 8, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Paris. He was born on December 21, 1950, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Robert D. Richardson and Jicie C. (Wurst) Richardson. He was 71 years old.

In 1974, Jim started working for Jarrard Auto Parts in Paris, which is now NAPA Auto Parts, for the last 48 years. Jim will be missed for all of his hard work, his dedication, and friendships he's made during his working career. Jim was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 12th at Graves Cemetery in Delaware with Bro. Gary Tuck officiating. All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his two brothers, Kenneth Richardson and wife Tammi of Greenwood and Garry Richardson of Damascus; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family members.
