James Richard 'Rick" Talmadge, who resided in Fort Smith, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at his residence. He was born August 28, 1960, in Fort Smith, to J.W. Cripps and Gloria Fox. He was 59 years old.

Rick was a retired forklift operator at Whirlpool, Inc. in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Melody (Smith) Talmadge of Sallisaw; two sons, Richard Talmadge of Thailand and Billy Talmadge of Fort Smith; his mother, Gloria Sue Irwin of Fort Smith; one granddaughter, Kimberly Norman.
