Obituary

James Alan Holman Stein, who resided in Ozark, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 in Ozark. He was born July 30, 1977 in Ozark. He was 37 years old.

James was disabled. He was a 1997 graduate of Altus High School. He was associated with the MDA Telethon each year and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 12th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery, located south of Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Kathy and James Boydston of Ozark; seven sisters, Brandy White of Cabot, Sharon Butts of Kansas, Elizabeth Taylor and husband Marty of Ozark, Melissa Ivey and husband Richard of Ozark, Anna Flanary and husband Chris of Ozark, Nikkie Bittle and husband Anthony of Ozark, and Cathy McCormick and husband Stacy of Altus; seven brothers, Billy Stein and wife April of Ozark, Jody White and wife Camella of Ozark, David Stein of Ozark, J.L. Holman and wife Amanda of Clarksville, Jayson Holman and wife LeAnn of Clarksville, Darian Holman and wife LaDonna of Ozark, and Timmy Stein of Fayetteville; his maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Edna and Bill Woods of Clarksville.

Pallbearers are Jody White, Billy Stein, J.L. Holman, Jayson Holman, Darian Holman, and Lucas Wilkins.

Family will visit with friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
