James Dale Boydston, Jr., who resided near Ozark, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at his home. He was born July 13, 1966, in Russellville, Arkansas to James Dale Boydston, Sr. and Margaret Ruth (Stein) Boydston. He was 51 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, and one step-son, James Holman.
James was construction foreman for Holmes Erection, Inc. in Fort Smith. James loved his family and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev Terry Scott officiating. The body will be cremated following the service.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy (Tumbleson) Boydston; his mother, Maggie Boydston of Hartman; three daughters, Melisa Ivey, Anna Flanary and husband Chris, and Nikki Stein, all of Ozark; two step-sons, Jody White and David Stein, both of Ozark; three sisters, Jackie Verweibe and husband Howard of Hagarville, Debbie Boydston and Missy Hunstable, both of Hartman; thirteen grandchildren, including his grandson and best friend, Westyn Flanary.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Holmes Erection, Inc.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
