Jacqueline R. Rayburn of Russellville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born on May 13, 1953, in Ozark to the late Hugh Forbus and Ruby (Kirby) Forbus. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Rayburn; a sister Mary Crone; and a brother, Bob Forbus.

Jacqueline received her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and taught at Paris Public Schools.  She was raised in the Methodist Church, was recently of the Baptist faith.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1st at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Judy Hall officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Wilkinson of Greenwood; one brother, David Forbus of Sardis, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Nelson and husband Roger of Russellville and Connie Overstreet and husband Wayne of Barling; a special friend, Bill Kohler; and her best friends, Sandra Bradley, Jane Phillips, and Anita Rissler.
