Jacqueline Janet "Jackie" Alvarez of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 6, 2023, at her residence. She was born on July 23, 1931, in San Jose, California, to the late Anthony Carlone and Prudence Ann (Romero) Carlone. She was almost 92 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Leon Alvarez; and a grandson, Kevin Strong.

Jackie was a retired property manager for Atlantic & Pacific Management-San Diego HOA Management.

She is survived by her son, Michael Phillips and wife Diane of Poway, California; a brother, Paul Carr and wife Opal of Van Buren; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
