Obituary

Jackie Allen Phillips, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born June 14, 1975 in Springdale, Arkansas to the late Gerald Dean Phillips, Sr. and Mary Sue (Black) Phillips. He was 40 years old. He was also preceded in death by a son, Eric Giddens; one grandson, Gavin Giddens; and one sister, Carol Ruth Adair.

Jackie was a trainer at River Valley Animal Foods in Scranton and was a graduate of County Line High School. Jackie loved his family and loved and respected all of his friends at work.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Clyde Adair officiating.
Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Carrie (Cornwell) Phillips; three daughters, Christian Floren and husband Jimmy of Scranton, Cynthea Rice of New Blaine, and Rosalynn (Phillips) Laubach; four sons, Joshua Giddens of Illinois, Matthew Barry and wife Haley of Subiaco, Trenton Phillips of Paris, and Billy Ray Harrell and wife Colleen of Little Rock; one sister, Wilma Sue; one brother, Gerald Dean Phillips, Jr. and wife Tina of Booneville; two brother-in-laws, Clyde Adair of Booneville and Donald "Freddy" Cornwell of Paris; eight grandchildren, Dylan, Alyssa, Devon, Savannah, Clayton "Junebug", Myla Rose, Cheyenne, and Ethan James; numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be his friends and co-workers at River Valley Animal Foods.
