Jackie Dale Walker of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday, February 5, 2024,  at the Ashton Place Manor in Barling, Arkansas. He was born on July 26, 1930, in Asher, Oklahoma, to the late Calvin Newton Walker and Lucy Virginia (Smith) Walker. He was 93 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nowena J. (Foster) Walker; and a grandson, Tommy Calvin Walker, Jr.

Jack was a retired independent petroleum landman and member of Central Christian Church in Fort Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 4th at Bethel Cemetery in Bethel, Oklahoma, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Lynn Rakestraw, Tommy Walker and wife Tracy, and Jacqueline Walker; (11) grandchildren; and (15) great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3rd at the funeral home.
