Jackie Eugene "Jack" Ball, who resided in Alma, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 11, 1955, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to the late Beverly Charles Ball and Hazel Louise (Brown) Ball. He was 66 years old. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita Chambers and Debbie Bridges, and one brother, Bill Ball.

Jack was a retired Police Sergeant for the Fort Smith Police Department. He served the City of Fort Smith for over 27 years as a police officer and also a service member in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his two children, Justin Ball and wife Angie of Tallahassee, Florida, and Jessica Elizabeth Ball of Belleville, Washington; three brothers, Kenny Ball, Eddie Ball, and Wes Ball; two sisters, Teresa Brown and Beverly Beaver; one granddaughter, Ember Ball.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
